Sample Statements for Course Syllabi
§5.4.6 of the UMW Faculty Handbook requires that the course syllabus contain four policy statements: an accessibility statement; a course recording policy statement; a Title IX policy statement, and the instructor’s statement of adherence to the Honor System. The following example syllabi statements are provided as a reference. Questions should be addressed to the office that is indicated as the source of the example syllabi statements listed below.
