This website details the college and department procedures for promotion and/or tenure. Each college has a separate tenure and promotion policy document, and each academic department has departmental guidelines providing information about the kinds of activities that constitute appropriate achievement in each evaluation area. All documents are accessible through the relevant college’s links below.
NOTE: Applicants for promotion and/or tenure should be mindful of the universal criteria, general requirements, expectations, and deadlines as expressed in Section 7 of the Handbook, as well as the specific procedures and other details that pertain to the promotion and tenure process as it is carried out in the faculty member’s college and as detailed in the relevant document here.
