Payments for Research Participants
Compensating persons to participate in a research project falls under the UMW gift policy. Please review the payment guidelines provided by Accounts Payable.
In addition, several sections of the UMW policy on gift-giving may be relevant, depending on the nature of the research project, the participants involved, and the manner of compensation to be provided.
