Colleagues,
Two online workshops on topics of prevention of academic misconduct will be held today (July 29th) and Wednesday August 5th. The first workshop will focus on technological issues and solutions. It will include Canvas techniques for deterring cheating, the challenges of online proctoring technology and ways to detect plagiarism. The second workshop will focus on pedagogical changes you can make that can improve academic integrity, including scaffolding, rethinking exams, and student-directed assignments. The workshops will be recorded and available online as well. More information, including Zoom links is available here.
