Welcome to Week 2–Round Two of ReFocus Online! A few notes to get your week started:
The website is fully live!
All weeks are now open on the website, including a section for the Compelling Courses faculty learning community. If you are joining us for the first time, this week’s topic is all about online assignments and feedback.
Week 2–Round Two Workshop meeting link
This week’s workshop meeting link will go out later this afternoon. There is still time to register—registration remains open until today at noon.
Week 3–Round Two Workshop registration
Registration for Week 3-Round Two workshops will open up this afternoon and remain open through Friday, July 24th. You can see a preview of the concurrent sessions by scrolling to the bottom half of the ReFocus Online registration page.
Virtual Q&A
This week’s virtual Q&A will be on Thursday, July 23rd at 2:00 p.m. A meeting link will be forwarded to all faculty on Thursday morning.
Academic Integrity workshops
David Rettinger, Director of Academic Integrity Programs, will be leading two drop-in workshops on academic integrity in online environments.
- Wednesday July 29th at 2pm: Technology and Integrity: Threats, Opportunities, and Fool’s Gold.
- Wednesday, August 5th at 2pm: Pedagogical Approaches to Academic Integrity
