Subject: We made it through Week 1!

Dear colleagues,

Other than the Zoom outage and a minor library leak on Monday, this week seems to have gone fairly smoothly from the library’s point of view.  We’re still working our way through your scanning and purchase requests, and we’ve been troubleshooting some glitches with access to some electronic resources.

You may have noticed a link in the Canvas menu called Library Resources.  Clicking on this link should take you to the Library Research Guide we have prepared for you discipline.  If you would like the link to point to additional guides, just let us know.

You can also embed a link to an entire guide, or to a specific part of a guide, into a Canvas module.  I’ve attached a document that walks you through the process.  Please feel to reach out to me or to any of the library staff if you have questions.

I know many of you are using the Library Reading Lists to connect your students to scanned materials and other resources in Canvas.  If you click on the 3 dots that appear by a title in your reading list, you can then select the permalink and embed that reading wherever you want in your class.  Again, reach out to us if you’re having difficulty with this.

Have a wonderful weekend, and get some rest!

Rosemary
